RNase Inhibitor
Ribonucleases (RNases) are nucleases that cleave the 3’, 5’ phosphodiester linkages in RNA. These are ubiquitous in nature and can easily degrade RNA. Therefore, these enzymes need to be inhibited in studies involving RNA. Ribonuclease (RNase) inhibitor, as the name suggests, inhibits RNases by binding and inactivates them.
ProEnz Pro RNase Inhibitor protects RNA from Ribonucleases by competitively binding to them. This product can be directly added to the PCR reactions containing RNA. RNases are ubiquitous and it is important to eliminate any trace amount of RNase to ensure a stable RNA for the experiments.
